Jamie – I just wanted to say that Tim, Mike, Andrew, Jeff, Barry and I had a fantastic time with you folks on Saturday.  We were especially impressed with the steepness of the terrain.

best greetings from the 3 German Snowboarders and our Skier Dennis.
We're now back in good old Germany and here 6" new snow waited on Sunday for us. Unfortunately we have no hills here and our region is very flat.
Thank you all for this great trip in Winterpark.

12” New in 96 Hours Best Powder Skiing in 2010

Yesterday was the best powder skiing of the season at Jones Pass. It started snowing on Sunday mid day, by 8pm there was 8 inches new snow. We had several squalls come through on Monday and Tuesday leaving another 4 inches new in its wake.

Good day of exploration in the operating area. Finally enough snow for guests. Found mixed results in the snowpack at higher elevations.

The snowcat is almost ready to be trucked over to Jones Pass. Timmay the rock star of the last blog, custom fabricated some ski boxes for us and they look really nice.

Guide Training November 20, 2009

The mechanic is still finishing up a few things on the snowcat so we decided to hike in, get some much needed exercise and see how much snow there is.

We purchased an oldie but a goodie! you are looking at an older model LMC in cherry condition. It has low hours on a new motor and low hours on the machine overall. Right now it is parked in the lot at Beaver Village. We are doing a bunch of preventative maintenance and other modifications.

About 6" of snow left from the most recent storms, primarily on the North aspects at or near treeline.

Snowcat should be delivered by next week
