Recent article in the Boulder Weekly

Backcountry ski testing and Alpine Touring Binding test with Backpacker Magazine.

Spring storms are making for some great skiing. Last night we received 6 inches of new snow and we are forecast to receive an additional 4-6 inches today and another 1-2 tonight. Sunday April 4 we had 4-6 inches new depending on location and the skiing is fantastic. Last week we did some product testing with Backpacker Magazine, thanks to Tracy Ross for putting it all together. We tested skis from Black Diamond, Volkl, Scott and Dynafit, just to name a few. We tested the new Marker F-12 tour binding, as well as some clamps from Fritschi and Dynafit. Every tester had a good time and we had a mix of spring conditions on the first day on a hike to ski adventure, followed by 4-6 inches of new snow that night and some nice powder conditions for cat skiing testing the following day.
